About Margeaux Thomas
Over her 15+ year career as a lawyer, Margeaux has represented individuals and small businesses in complex commercial and real estate litigation and class action cases at the trial and appellate level throughout Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. Margeaux specializes in commercial landlord/tenant disputes, business partnership disputes, and contract disputes (franchise, partner, shareholder, non-compete, and non-solicitation to name a few).
Margeaux is a member of the George Mason Inn of Court. Margeaux was also selected to serve on the Alexandria Bar Association Judicial Screening Committee beginning in 2022. She is also an active member of the Northern Virginia Black Attorney’s Association, the Federal Bar Association, the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, and a permanent member of the Fourth Circuit Judicial Conference. Margeaux has been recognized in the Super Lawyers – Rising Stars Ed. from 2013 – 2023, by Northern Virginia Magazine as a Top Lawyer for 2022, and by Virginia Lawyers Weekly as a “Go To Lawyer for Business Litigation” for 2023.
